I usually wear foam plugs and have been quite happy with them but have also been glad to take them out at the end of a long ride. I had seen some advertisements for these Alpine plugs and watched some, positive, YouTube reviews so decided to give them a go. They come with a little pouch to keep them in and a small plastic applicator to aid putting them in your ear. They are easy enough to get in and out without too much faffery. Every one’s perceptions are different and mine is that they appear to be more comfortable than the foam plugs, but so far I’ve only used them for commuting approx an hour each way. As for noise filtering, I don’t feel they are any better than the foam plugs for wind noise but I do feel I hear my intercom more clearly. They do allow a little more of the annoying tyre noise, made by the OE tyres on my GSA, however this won’t be an issue when I change the tyres. Overall I’m happy with my purchase and hope that they continue to feel comfortable on full day rides.

Bought the race version, they almost cut down too much noise! Fit is great and the supplied insert tool works well. Very comfortable for long rides and really helps for the wind noise with a peaked helmet, although I'm sad it's harder to hear my Africa Twin now. Handy case to keep them safe. Would definitely recommend and will be buying a pair for my wife.

Bought these after ear plugs were recommend by a helmet shop. Didn’t know they would help reduce wind noise so much but still allow me to hear other traffic and sounds you may want to hear (nice exhaust note for example!). At first, they did feel odd but they fit comfortably in your ear without sticking out too far. Can’t really go out without them now. Easy to put in your ear and simple to remove. I would give 5 stars if they came in a harder or quality case but for the price they are worth it.

I use a very noisy helmet, and so I was sceptical, but these earplugs work VERY well! They are comfortable, are easy to fit and remove, and clean up well after use. Most important is that they block the majority of wind noise, whilst still allowing for some normal hearing. Remarkable! They will be my motorcycle ear protection from now on.

I've used these over the past few years and they are far more comfortable than other that I've tried. I have used the cheap foam plugs which do cut more noise out but these still allow you to hear the basic road noise of cars etc. and they still work well with my SENA intercom. You can also wash them in warm water to keep them clean, I've often found the foam plugs lose their shape if washed and you will need to clean them periodically.

I wear a modular helmet (always closed) which is apparently pretty bad for wind noise, and I usually ride with bulk bought foam 37db SNR plugs which are awesome for wind, bad for hearing anything else. I bought the Alpine Race. The alpines go in a good bit further and are fiddly which I didn't like, but I could hear my bike well and traffic, great for low speeds. But as soon as I hit 30mph the helmet wind noise felt like I had no plugs. Got upto 60/70 and whilst better than no plugs, it's still really uncomfortable. Repositioned them, tried again, put them in even further, no change. The alpines are x35 the cost of my backup silicon corded ear plugs which don't have the fancy filter, and I love alpine gear, but I can't tell the difference in quality between them. I'll stick to higher db foam plugs, but these are definitely better than nothing so still 3 stars. The carry case is super handy but also after 3 unzips its starting to get stuck and dethread.

As someone who for years never saw any merit in ear plugs with riding, I was shocked to see the difference. No only making the ride much more comfortable, but was better able to hear other noises, toning out some of the droning noises. Fits perfectly and comes with the fitting tool too. Very easy to use. Love the Cary case, making it very portable without any risk of losing them too. For the price, very much worth it and a great bit of kit for any ride out!

The earplugs seem quite fragile but are a little more rugged. Use is via an adaptor, supplied,. There's an art to there use that becomes more apparent with every use. They sort of keep the winded noise away but sadly I've used better. They are reasonably comfortable and value for money. The little case keeps them from getting lost. ☹️🤓

I needed some higher end product for times when I'm riding my motorcycle. These Alpine MotoSafe Pro Premium ear plugs do the trick. I had added a carbon fibre exhaust so my noise level has been elevated. I notice a big difference since using these ear plugs. Easy to store in the handy case that comes with them. I wear the case on a strap around my neck and can use and store as needed. Great product.

I bought these after losing my previous set of earplugs, Surefire EP4s. Wearing the Race model under a Bell Star DLX (not the race star) on a CBR600. Turns out this helmet is made for more of a touring than sport riding position according to Bell so the wind noise is a bit louder. First off these are the most comfortable earplugs I have ever worn and the first set that have stayed in place for more than an hour or hour and a half. Cheap foam plugs seem to work their way out of my ears after 30 minutes, and the EP4s would last maybe an hour and a half before they were starting to work their way out. Also the EP4s would press on my ears just enough that they were getting a bit sore by that time anyways. I wore these for a 3-1/2 hour round trip this weekend and they stayed snug in my ears the entire time, and are comfortable enough that I could pretty much forget they were there at all. So, I absolutely love the comfort on these and if I ever lose them I'll buy another pair on that fact alone. Also great is they filter just the right amount of noise for riding. Foams and even Surefires with the caps open filter a lot of noise out, great for protection but more than needed in my opinion. My helmet is quite loud at highway speeds, and these still cut out almost all of the wind noise but when I pull up to a light or just stop to talk I can still hear people well enough to talk. I couldn't really do that with the EP4s or especially foams. I haven't tried every earplug available, but these are definitely my new favorite and I don't believe I need to try anything else now. The little insertion tool is a nice addition too, makes getting them in super quick and easy.
